Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Combine the above ingredients.

In a second bowl combine the following:

1 egg, lightly beaten
1/3 cup cooking oil
1/2 cup vanilla or plain yogurt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 medium sized ripe bananas, mashed
3/4 cups mini chocolate chips

Mix wet with dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full and bake @350 for 20-24 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Makes 16 regular-sized muffins or 24 mini-muffins (adjust baking time for mini-muffins).
