This can either be a dip or a salad dressing (similar to Chuy's Restaurant).
16 oz sour cream (can be regular, light or non-fat, consistency may vary slightly)
1/2 cup mayo (can be regular, light or non-fat, consistency may vary slightly)
1 pkg. Ranch Dressing mix powder
1 Tbsp. diced garlic (I use the diced that comes precut in jars from the vegetable dept)
1 Tbsp lime juicea bunch of fresh cilantro (discard the bottom stems)
1 small can green chilies
l large jalapeno - 2 inch, approximately 2 small (seeded and membranes cut out)
*Throw all the ingredients into a blender and blend the heck out of it!!
*You can adjust the jalapenos to taste. One large pepper gives it a nice kick. Perhaps start out with one pepper and go form there. Don’t touch your eyes or face. If you do, use milk to tone down the burn, not water. Some people use pickled jalapenos. I have never tried this Don't be afraid to use a lot of cilantro, etc. But then again, don't be afraid to experiment a little...
